“ Before you know kindness as the deepest thing inside, you must know sorrow as the other deepest thing.
You must wake up with sorrow. You must speak it till your voice catches the thread of all sorrows and you see the size of the cloth.”
Naomi Nye
The size of the cloth, a behemoth, one can’t see the edges any longer, as it unravels on one end and is stitched together hastily on the other side. A temporary solution, that does not have any vision or long term planning involved. We are going break neck speed, to quickly meet a wall.
Is our country such a mess because we can’t feel the pain? Are the people in politics verging on mental illness because they are unable to grief?
If we allow the sorrow into our lives, and process it in bits, will that alter our trajectory as a nation?
Will it change our immediate communities and the structure of daily life in a positive way?
do you know if this will work?
We are in Yang time, Fire, a time of expansion and connection.
