Charles Eisenstein spoke at Naropa University for the 2019 John and Bayard Cobb Peace Lecture Presentation.. This is a snippet of the talk. “Today the dominant narrative, whether we recognize it or not , is a war narrative, not only on the obvious level of U.S foreign policy, identifying enemies around the world and bombing them, but also in our basic understanding of how the world works and how to solve problems. War thinking permeates the public psyche. To build a peace narrative, we need to identify the existing war narrative.” He went on to discuss the tendency for nature to be inherently chaotic and have intelligent organization simultaneously. And (paraphrasing here) that we will need to have a lot of genuine compassion not idiot compassion, really walk in another person’s shoes, and sacrifice our righteous identity for us to see some healing and growth out of the polarization that…
“and I didn’t carve out enough space to tell you that I really loved the piece you wrote. and relate in so many ways. that love, lack of judgement, and curiosity are our only options. and our only hopes.” K.N New writing on it’s way… Stay tuned
Photo credit: Katherine Nagy The Five elements make up an ancient diagnostic method that supports the harmony among Heaven, People and the Earth. Energy is the language, the vehicle of communication amidst all parties. Energy is in constant motion, remember that an atom (the smallest unit of matter comprising all elements) can be seen as a particle and a wave. The core tenet of Chinese medicine is to support the transformation and transportation of energy within the body and in relation to the surrounding environment. This doesn’t always represent a positive constructive cycle, it can be a negative cycle such as negentropy. But the key is, that things are moving, even if compost is deconstructing into dirt or an animal is digesting another animal. Otherwise, there is stasis which is represented by sickness or possibly death. Death can just be part of the ever rotating cycles. So the question is how…
Jipala has helped ease me into my next phase of life after an ovariectomy/hysterectomy. I am, with her guidance, healing physically and emotionally without replacement hormones (my choice). Her knowledge and experience brings her work into an almost mystical realm. Z.G
I have worked with Jipala Kagan of Transpersonal Acupuncture, for over 5 years and have found our work together, nothing short of life changing. Jipala’s work has supported the whole of my life—in a way I cannot compare to any other physical or psychotherapeutic modality. Jipala is supremely well trained and wise to the ways of a human “being.” I have been treated for insomnia, hot flashes and a host of other acute and chronic conditions, but the work and results run much deeper than relief on a purely physical plane. During each session, Jipala creates her treatment plan through both analytical and intuitive measures; candid dialogue, pulse readings, changes in voice, skin tone, shifts of energy in the room and beyond. Jipala also has a keen sense for “hearing” what is not said and unearthing the key-missing piece to deepen our work during each session. From here, she…
“It’s what happens when you don’t hide from suffering…when you keep your heart open in hell. Hell is still hell, but you know that as hard as it may be, being in hell with your heart closed is really HELL..and the nature of us all is that eventually, our hearts open.” ️Michael Maruti Projansky. This sentiment captures something, explains the space in-between that good transcendent feeling and the horrible feeling of being crushed by darkness. I just heard Michael speak and boy was he vibrating from this space, it was honestly palpable. Transmitted through the audience, gives me shivers. #heartopen #trancendence #innerfreedom #suffering #maharaji
