I could see it when someone was passing me on the street, at social gatherings or with my individual patients. These people would look fragmented, spaced out, or like pieces of their energetic shell were missing or malformed. This is what it looked like.
The woman walking across the street would have a big blank spot over her face. The man at the party was dull from waist down, from torso up he was all twisted and bound up at his throat. The man in the post office was turned within himself, like an inside out hooded sweatshirt all bunched up. The woman behind the counter had energy that formed a fog swamp and leaked around her. The man in my office was sitting besides himself.
I looked for answers to unravel these mysterious patterns and I became better acquainted with this tricky masquerading form of energy. And then it struck me, like being hit over the head with a frying pan, the energy that I had identified many times over was trauma energy. In order to broaden the scope and understanding of trauma. I want to call attention to the energetic presentation of the trauma pattern and how it is expressed within an individual.
The phenomenon of trauma energy is incurred when forces outside the self de-struct the energetic completeness of the whole being. It can be expressed as frozen or a disconnected energy, it may manifest in total lack of feeling like disassociation, oppression or in the hyper-expression of feelings such as anxiety, worry, anger or fear.
