The pulses of IG and the trend of the narcissist/codependent recovery conversation continues to run rampant, everyone is an expert. The blameless victim, gets discussed quite a bit. I think it is a fitting conversation because codependency and narcissism to some extent are Earth time conversations. Earth types are often codependent in nature, giving up too much energy to nurture and please others, not getting nourished enough. A narcissist is probably more of a metal wood conversation but could be found in any element. Co-dependents can also be found in any element, there is no one prescription. Ahhh we are discussing the Victim. So not to get distracted. Both parties claim they are the victim, a funny coincidence. But really it is just to get out of taking responsibility for their own actions, a lack of accountability. The codependent and the narcissist are making basically the same choices, choosing to…

I am recently back from a wonderful two day trip to Vermont. I was pleased to meet up with an old friend and colleague. We went swimming in a couple incredible parks and walked in the mountains, did yoga everyday, cooked lovely food, and we talked. It was like a perfect minute. I learned so much from her, wonderful recommendations for books, movies, career, relationship and parenting advice. It was so nourishing. I topped off the amazing visit with a brunch with my aunt. We hashed out the whole family line and dished about family dynamics. It was a healing few hours that were much needed. I came home and devoured an amazing memoir by Viola Davis, called Finding Me. It was epic. I am now back at work listening to an NPR special on the changes of pregnancy and how now there is now science that proves the neurology…

Response to the NYT Article: Women have been misled about Menopause, Susan Dominus 2/5/23 It is Sunday morning and I just read the above article, after three clients mentioned it to me yesterday. They thought I would be interested in reviewing it, I was! I am besides my self with rage, I am livid, I could climb the walls. Yesterday, I went on a 20 minute verbal rant on how woman are treated in this medical climate, Malpractice was the word used to sum it up. This article in the NY Times is akin to putting a bees nest in a box, shaking it and letting the bees out to sting randomly and in confusion and then die alone for no good reason. The article discusses Menopause, by dangling a carrot of “easy’ treatment in front of woman’s faces and then slamming a door on their fingers, circling them back…

“If you can not be radical then you will never make it.” Ra Uru Hu This is the kind of statement that I would traditionally gravitate towards. I have been keeping quote books since I was 16 , there are probably about 25 quotes recorded with this sentiment in mind. Please give me information, in all forms, what is the next far- out theory? I have a love affair with the idea of radicalness. The extremes are seductive to some and dangerous to others. I believe in both fear and courage. In many traditions, radicalness is living from the self, I feel at home here. The exploration for most of us is to find that out, living from that place, that place of home-self. I spent a large chunk of time studying the Five elements in Chinese medicine to locate the self and how to put that out in the…

Last week was a week of interruption. I had little glimpses of the veil moving thousands of times but last week, it parted for a couple days. What a strange and relieving experience. A friend of mine told me something about myself and it just blew the whole thing open for me. I have been resistant to learning new systems of human categorization for sometime, but Human Design, WTF, game changer. And as one of the Human Design You tubers just told me, all tools are here to enhance the Human experience. True. Enhance the human experience, Why? Well If you have thought about this at all, you know the answer to this question. Because we are here to evolve, the act of being a human is an experiment in growth consciousness. The next step to focus on is our addictions. Addictions to not being ourselves. The addiction to…

I picked this idea up from someone, somewhere and I do not remember where that was. My understanding is that before the post-transformational calm, there is a chaotic burst of energy, or there will be a chaotic burst of energy before we all go Extinct. Your guess is as good as mine, the path that the future will take. Mythically, there is often an epic battle between the good forces and the bad. And just when we think the bad is going to win, the good prevails. I know that is the way most of us are hoping the current events will go. There have been plenty of times, historically, that the bad forces won in the world. Whole populations perished, because let’s face it, God is one kinky fuck and really lets anything happen. Or is it that Human beings let anything happen? Not really sure. I do know…

Revisting the 17 th century, secret murals from the Lukhang Temple and the Potala Palace, Tibet. The temple of the serpent water spirits. The vast landscape depicts copious images painted with ground mineral pigment, showing every aspect of human development from pre-conception through all stages and aspects of human existence on through death and beyond. There are Buddhas, Deities, humans, Demons and animals: the murals keep your eyes roving up and down and side to side, feasting on the raw, gory, beautiful pictures. They stir something deep within, foster an insatiable craving for comprehension. Messages for the mind, for the heart for the self, they are all here to understand. DNA is probably adaptable if we can access that part of our brain and expand our own consciousness. Let’s learn by example. Radical pictures of demons in the many stages of life painted across the wall. The dangerous and captivating…

Based on Stephen Karpman’s work 1972 The diagram of the drama triangle is a pictogram that represents the history of a post war industrial society, the focus at the time was on progress. These technological, medical, agricultural, social advancements came at a great cost to human rights and decent environmental practices. This was acceptable at the time because the quality of living for the Westerner, was greatly enhanced. Currently, however, there is more at stake and these old patterns need to be re-examined. The drama triangle is the story of codependency, narcissism and addiction, roles that are forced onto us from the over culture because we are not able to grasp the arc of human dynamics and interpersonal relationship. There is no space, not a lot of room to evolve and to shed old patterns. We are burdened by generations of un-healed trauma in our family lines. There are but…

“Postural tone is the foundation of our resting state and our readiness to engage in life.” Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen 2022 Just beginning an online course with Bonnie on muscles, and very much looking forward to learning a thing or two about embodied movement and muscular diversity. As I descend again into another round of trauma recovery work, I find myself revisiting old patterns and constructs. I am looking at the same internal space with eyes, a little less clouded. I am making more connections and having the courage to rearrange the floor plan, crack open some doors, possibly open a window or two. In relationship to my terrible posture, I am discovering that the art of correcting it, lies in not one or two linear movements, but possibly twenty or so, connected subtle shifts, all the way from my pelvic floor to my jaw and the top of my mouth. …
